The standard refrigerator/freezer is a great all-purpose appliance for your kitchen. Not only can it store fresh and frozen food, but often it serves as a water and ice dispenser too.
Sometimes though we don’t need all these extra features. Just some more room to store fresh food. This is where the “All Refrigerator” configuration comes into play. These tend to have single doors and one main compartment, though in some cases they may have two or more doors each with their own fresh food compartments.
Kenmore has a very limited selection of All-Refrigerator models. They do have a built-in model as well as a freestanding one, but that’s about as much of a choice as you’re going to get.
These types of refrigerators are great for second fridges, or when used in combination with a chest or upright freezer that’s dedicated to frozen food.
