We’ve recently gotten some interest in under-counter refrigerators from our visitors, so we’ve been focusing on adding refrigerators of that type to our database. Today we have the KitchenAid wine refrigerators and other under-counter fridge models from their Architect Series II line.
These under-counter refrigerators can be installed in freestanding applications too, so if you’re looking for a general wine or beverage cooler in that configuration, any of these should still work well. We wouldn’t recommend this though, as the price tag for under-counter refrigerators is generally much higher than for similar capacity free standing refrigerators.
As is usually the case with smaller compact refrigerators, you won’t find a lot of extras here. These are quite bare-bones, and not terribly energy efficient either. None of them are Energy Star qualified. There isn’t much in the way of differentiation in these models in regards to dimensions either. So if your cabinets are the right size you’ll have a wide selection, and if not there won’t be any that will work. The average dimensions of these under-counter refrigerators is 23.63″ wide, 24.43″ deep, and 35.10″ tall.
